My name is Ethan Clouser and I've desired for a while now to write books, start podcasts, and generally, just teach the Bible. In the midst of wanting to start sharing my thoughts on the Scriptures, it was necessary to acknowledge that I am only twenty years old. I'm aware I don't have a lot of wisdom or knowledge to offer up. I wrestled with whether or not it was right to start a blog and podcast to share my thoughts towards the Scriptures and God publicly, with fear that my lack of experience may lead to an ineffectiveness of my teachings. Would it be better for me to forsake publishing content and any format of public ministry in order that I might focus my efforts entirely on my apprenticeship to Jesus? Perhaps. But there was another element at play. If I desire to be a writer and teacher, I must work on my craft. Starting right now. Plus, I did an Instagram poll (90% said I should!) lol. Anyways, my hope is that you are able to take at least a bit of growth from my content. My goal is to take an open-ended approach to things, providing my thoughts, opinions, and experiences in order to offer up a difference in perspective for many readers and watchers of my content. I pray that as you voyage alongside me in your journey with God, we can collectively unite in what it means to search and wrestle with the big questions the Bible and the world have to offer to us.
My name is Ethan Clouser, and I'm a lover and follower of Jesus. I am currently married to my wonderful bride, PJ. We recently moved to Belgium last fall so that I could attend the University of KU Leuven and study theology.
Back in 2021, I served as the "youth pastor" at Scotland Chapel in Scotland, Pennsylvania, until I attended a discipleship training school with the "Circuit Riders".
I am currently trying to figure out what I'm doing at the moment. I like creating content that helps people understand the Bible better. I also want to integrate conversations surrounding mental health in the church, as I personally navigate such a conflict. My long-term dream is to do vocational ministry alongside whoever God puts in my life. Pastoral leadership and writing sound nice. Entrepreneurship is also a big passion of mine. Regardless, I just desire to teach others how to journey towards experiencing the love of God, just as I attempt to do the same.
Trust me, this is the place to be. There's some fire exclusive stuff you'll get here. See you on the other side ;)
